Why Colon Hydrotherapy?

Consider these medical facts:

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon Hydrotherapy removes the fecal material that does not come out with your bowel movement, in a safe and
comfortable atmosphere. It is strictly confidential and private. Our colon hydrotherapy units are closed systems that use filtered, temperature and pressure regulated water and the waste is channeled directly to the sewers.

Colon Hydrotherapy is a centuries-old therapy using filtered water to stimulate the elimination of the fecal material that does not pass with a bowel movement. This can reduce colon spasms and re-tone the muscle of the colon, making its contractions and subsequent elimination more effective. Like any other muscle in our body, when stimulated to contract in a healthy manner it will become stronger, reducing the likelihood of spasm.

The nurse will do an abdominal assessment prior to starting the session. The entire 5-6 feet of your colon will be gently hydrated with the water, going in at the rate of a dripping water faucet, to soften any accumulated fecal matter on the inner wall of your colon. We use the SLOW FILL METHOD, which assures you will have larger releases by strengthening your colon. It may take several HYDRATIONS (from 5-20 gallons per session), in order to GENTLY facilitate the release of the OLD FECAL MATERIAL. We use abdominal massage and encourage you to BREATHE to oxygenate the colon during the hydration, to improve the release. You will be totally relaxed, and comfortable. After your session, we will have a better idea of how many sessions you will need, based on your goals.
